Ring sizing

The most accurate way to find your ring size is to visit a local jeweller and have them measure your finger. Or, you can order a ring sizer here. But if you'd rather do it yourself, below are a couple of methods you can do with items at home.

Ring size guide

Use this guide to help determine your finger size. If you're between sizes, it's recommended to size up for comfort.

A few tips before you start

  • Fingers on your dominant hand are often a little larger.
  • Evenings are usually the best time to measure, when your fingers are at their largest and most natural size. Cold fingers shrink slightly and warm fingers expand.

Measure an Existing Ring

If you already have a ring that fits the finger you’re buying for:

  • Find a ruler and measure the inside diameter of the ring (in millimetres).
  • Convert the diameter to the circumference.
  • Use the chart below to find the matching ring size.

Make sure to measure from the inside edges — not the metal itself — for the most accurate result.

Measure Your Finger

If you don’t have a ring to measure:

  • Cut a thin strip of paper or use a piece of string.
  • Wrap it around the base of your finger — snug, but not tight.
  • Mark where the ends meet and measure that length in millimetres.
  • Use the chart to find the closest match under inside circumference.
