Shipping and Returns
Each piece is individually handmade. Items that are in stock and ready to ship will be labelled on the product page. Other items are made to order, with a turnaround time of roughly 2-3 weeks.
If your order contains a combination of made to order and ready to ship, by default they will ship together when everything is ready.
Get in touch if you need an item or order for an important date - most times it can be accommodated.
All orders will be shipped via Royal Mail. Below are the approximate delivery times.
UK orders: Tracked, 2-3 working days
Australia, New Zealand: Tracked, 5-7 working days
Rest of World: 6-7 working days
For international orders, custom charges and tariffs are the customers' responsibility.
US Shipping Update
I’ll be temporarily closing shipping to the US on Sunday 17 August 2025. In order to avoid my customers incurring high fees after new tariffs come into effect on August 29, I'll be waiting to get an accurate picture of changes in the Postal system, before reopening. As an independent maker, closing off to the US means losing so many amazing customers. Sad and grateful for your support so far. I’ll be doing my best to find a feasible workaround.
Existing US orders, and new orders placed before 17 August will be expedited and shipped by August 18. The delivery aim from door-to-door is 5-7 working days, and there are no duties or tariffs before August 29.
Returns and Exchanges
As a small, one-woman business, currently returns are not accepted. An exchange for a credit note can be made within 14 days if the item and box are in original condition. Please get in touch at hello@bymyhands.studio. Cost of postage is the responsibility of the customer.
